Google Adds Reminder Creation And Swipe-To-Delete To Google Calendar

Google is adding support for reminders to its calendar apps, so you'll be able to stay on top of your to-dos and upcoming events all in one place.
Reminders can already be added in various places like Inbox and Google Now. These reminders will now appear in Google Calendar alongside your events .Should you not mark one as done by swiping it away, it will float at the top of your list for the next day.

Users after the update will be able to create Reminders in Google Calendar to monitor their to-do list alongside other events. Reminders unlike regular calendar event entries "stick with you over time", making them easier to track until they have been completed. If the Reminder task is not marked as finished, it will show up at the top of the Calendar the next day. Once finished, users can simply swipe them away.

The feature will add information like phone numbers and addresses automatically whenever an event is created. Now if users create a Reminder, it too will show the contact information by digging into Google Contacts. It also sources information from Google Knowledge Graph to include phone numbers and addresses not already with the user.
Creating Reminders from Inbox, Keep, and Google Now is also possible. "This means you can create a Reminder when you're checking your email and it will show up on your calendar
